Same fat lot of good he provided while he was there.piedys wrote:Everybody still happy with the decision to arsehole Brayden Seir off the list in 2021; fat lot of good that is doing us now.

That's funnyWhat'sinaname wrote:... that Callum doesn't really play football. He really just runs around a football ground and occasionally, and accidentally gets in the way of the ball.
I'm glad for Treloar's sake that he played well and was BOG.
He shows us what a good player he is (and I never doubted) and he will play another final series this year.
With Madgen and Pendles out, we may have the youngest team in history?
Fly doesn't have much to work with, except for the future...a 5-year plan...while Carlton plays finals

Well it will be a reoccurring nightmare for us. A few of us Nicksters tried very hard to change opinions here about getting rid of him but the club and the then administrators were hell bent on the decision. There is no point in any “I told you so” crap and life goes on with him doing well against us in the future. I hope the club learns from it but I won’t ever bet on it. I will always rate Treloar and hope he plays really well for them but just not against us.MatthewBoydFanClub wrote:What really hurts is that the best player for the Bulldogs is Adam Treloar who should be playing for us.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

"There is no drive to return to the big stage. He could easily have headed to one of the state leagues in a bid to keep his AFL flame flickering, and yet Sier instead chose to play local footy with Heidelberg."

Harsh and not true but that’s your opinion. I’d much rather have him at Collingwood than not. But that jet has now left the airport with those wise guys who orchestrated the whole deal. Let’s now be patient and groom the next jet or two from our young players, and support the long process.Pies4shaw wrote:Great call to dump him. He was - and remains - a soft, front-running leper.

He seems to excel against weak sides.Lazza wrote:Harsh and not true but that’s your opinion. I’d much rather have him at Collingwood than not. yep and yep, literally the ball smacked him on the chest, he just happened to be there, it wasnt kicked to him, it was like another **** you from above! or maybe below, im having trouble understanding how such a propped up team with such %$^%$ members gets so much good karma, the extra 250 frees a year! but then we know to well how much losing grand finals hurts, and the one they were given, well, judging by big footy most opposition fans think the extra 18 damn free kicks they got for zilch gave them the gamePies4shaw wrote:^ It's amazing how little he influences the game at crunch moments. He's like the Anti-Dustin-Martin.
where the **** is oakley when you need him!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

That’s correct and I’m in a good position to say he won’t be overly missed.Pies4shaw wrote:I think he has actually retired. Re Lipinski, they showed his 2021 numbers with the Dogs in the AFL ( first ten odd games for season before not getting a recall ) versus his output in 2022. Nearly every key stat is doubled during his time at Collingwood.Cam wrote:Lipiniski 2024-2028 will be > than Treloar 2014-2018. Mark it down.
Similar to Crisp scenario, this kid will shine.
And while we are at it, Oliver Henry will become our seasonal leading goalkicker in a couple of years and will kick more career goals than either Travis Cloke or Anthony Rocca.
He’s been a great pick up for us and I don’t see him getting any worse in years to come. Agree, there’s a bit of Jack Crisp about his rise and belief in becoming a better footballer. He’s not a bad user of the footy either. I can see why the Dogs didn’t want him to go.
