Hearing his leadership and mentoring around the club and on game day has been exemplary. He’s lost some distance in his kicking, but we never bagged Luke Ball for that.

A big shout out to Steele.
His battle with Langdon yesterday was a game within a game and his ability to nullify a key cog in the Demons structure went a very long way to us winning.

Fly also commented that Sidey achieved a PB in the gym last week, which demonstrates his commitment and professionalism. Since he has never relied on pace, but rather an ability to run all day, I can't see why he wouldn't play on next year and join the 300 club. His ability to read the game and his silky skills remain undiminished.

Assuming he runs out in a couple weeks. Press are declaring he is getting treatment ( cortisone ) for a hot spot in his foot. Two weeks rest has come at a perfect time but we should keep an ear out for any updates.

Probably from the gym, he scored a personal best last week apparently.

He just looks like a man who is loving footy this year, after not enjoying it the last few. Change of coaches, board, system has done wonders.

1. He continues to make some supporters look silly.
2. Did a job on QB that many wouldn't understand.
3. Would be in the first 10 picked every week.
4. Thankful to have a coach who knows what he's doing regardless of the vocal minority.

Just a little bump.

Our all-time great, premiership player is now 4th all-time at the Club for games. His 278 has taken him past Wayne Richardson (no mean feat as Wayne was also one of our greatest ever and has long-since been elevated to the AFL Hall of Fame) and he now trails just Gordon Coventry, Tony Shaw and Scott Pendlebury.

It is a credit to his fantastic preparation and application that he hasn't just limped to the line. It cannot now be gainsaid that he was the best pick of the 2008 national draft by some considerable margin.

His versatility to quickly learn a new role (in tandem with Hosk) is such a huge plus. Fly only had to explain it once and he was right on it. He’s loving it. Especially not having to start on the ball and expected to get 30+ stats a game as an inside mid for us to have any chance of winning. And this is testament to our young midfield guns stepping up, and Jordy/Crisp moving to the mid.

It's not his game-style and he shouldn't have to do it - but again, as he has all his career, he's sacrificed his natural talent and flair to do the hard, team things.

His first half yesterday was amazing.

His improvement in form over the last few weeks has been most welcome; hard running, clean hands and hitting targets with most disposals.

Those 3 weeks he lost in 2014 to suspension against St.Blunda still irks me...
