Am I the only one concerned by this teams inability to put games away? At some point luck is going to turn against us.

Never say die attitude, the old Magpie spirit is back in spades, but jeez, we fans need balls of steel, this close stuff aint good for high blood pressure. Time for nice red wine, cheers too Pendles. Unreal.
Some of our supporters just need to have faith as well.
Not going to get a good percentage looking at those figuresJezza wrote:Uncanny how many close wins we've had. 7 wins by under 2 goals.

Im probably dreaming, as Dale Kerrigan would say, but is this kid not only going to romp the rising star in, is he a remote chance for the Brownlow medal, in his first season, must have several BOG now, and the umps always give votes for players in winning team, now eight wins in a row, is he a realistic chance

We are worn out by close ones.
I'd like Essendon to volunteer (next week) to let us belt them by 100 points.
It's about time we get to really enjoy one.

Gutsy win on the back of hard work more than exquisite skills.
Congratulations to Pendlebury for not only an amazing career, but his determination to win today through sheer will.
Big game from Carmichael in the absence of Adams and I thought that he was very impressive. Also Coxy stepped up in the last quarter after a very poor start and provided a solid contest in the ruck.
A few cameos when is mattered from McCreery, Mihocek, Sidebottom and Elliott whilst Nick Daicos was just being Nick Daicos.
Got away with another close win. Not sure if this inability to put lower teams to the sword is a problem going forward considering that it’s the 4 points that ultimately matter or that a win covers up cracks within the system.
Go Pies!!!

I agree 100%, and they are still a few seasons away from being even close to a finished.scoobydoo wrote:Not yet. They’re not a finished product & first year coach. Upside is very goodderkd wrote:Great win and congrats Pendles a true club great.
