Pies vs Southport Sharks

Saturday 30 July @ 10.35am. Venue Vic Park.

This game scheduled before the AFL match against Port.
1st game at Vic Park since Round 1. Not sure why we are playing there at this stage of the season, would have been handy for supporters if is was AIA Centre although if it is wet there is better cover in the stands at Vic Park.

Ladder:

Pies 7th (9 wins 5 losses 114%) Southport (12 wins 3 losses 144%)

This will be a tough one to win. Southport are very good team in this competition. Probably no Johnson/Carmichael or Bianco, Grundy maybe for 3/4 of game.

25 minutes gone 2nd Qtr, Pies lead Southport 5.4 to 1.8

Very windy at Vic Park today, having an impact on the kicks.
