Australia's Somerset duo enjoyed a milestone outing at Essex with Matthew Renshaw starring with the bat after Peter Siddle claimed his 700th first-class wicket.
Queensland's Matthew Renshaw has cruised to his second ton of the county season as he continues to stake his claim for a Test recall with an Ashes series in England on the horizon.
Renshaw finished with 146 off 313 balls for Somerset in Chelmsford as they ate away at Essex's mammoth first innings of 9(dec)-505.

I see Cook is now a Knight.
"Former England skipper Alastair Cook officially received the knighthood for his services to cricket at an investiture ceremony in Buckingham Palace earlier on Tuesday, according to a release by Essex Cricket. He is the first England cricketer to receive a knighthood since Sir Ian Botham in 2007."

Lancashire elected to bat first. Scored 131 & 73 in their second innings.
Essex: 107 & 59.
Some quite incredible bowling returns. For Lancs > Tom Bailey 5/36 & George Balderson 5/13.
For Essex > Simon Harmer 5/41 & Shane Snater 6/10.
Begs the question: Have 4 different bowlers taken a 5fa or better in the one first class match ?

Glamorgan scored 5d-550, with David Lloyd not out on 313 (40 fours & 4 sixes).
Derby 1/26. Will be interesting to see if they can get near or even pass the Glamorgan total.
