Shame this topic has been relegated here, its very important, and should not have been moved here, not even mentioned on the Discussion page now, very disappointing, really, Mods.

Hawthorn are promoting their club is a safe destination for young players.
I'd suggest the AFL needs to do an audit of the club before the draft happens. If nothing else all these scandals shows us the AFL needs to be on top of these work environments.

This is where it belongs and I knew it would be moved. I posted it in GD to draw attention to it and it worked.Piesnchess wrote:Shame this topic has been relegated here, its very important, and should not have been moved here, not even mentioned on the Discussion page now, very disappointing, really, Mods.
Seems like the AFL are setting up a full investigation under a kings counsel

Why? The mods did the right thing to move the topic.Piesnchess wrote:Shame this topic has been relegated here, its very important, and should not have been moved here, not even mentioned on the Discussion page now, very disappointing, really, Mods.
It's got nothing to do with Collingwood in this instance.

I didn't want Clarkson because I thought he was tactically past it as a coach.Damien wrote:All the clubs that pursued Clarkson have now dodged a MASSIVE bullet
Never contemplated that something like this would happen under his coaching leadership.

Kennett was only President for some of that period. Andrew Newbold was President during most of the timeframe when these alleged events occurred.Piesnchess wrote:Mr Miyagi wrote:Would he have been aware of the complaints when at Hawthorn? ITS Clarko and Fagan, main allegations, and maybe Kennett, who was Prez during all this stuff.
Kennett was president from 2005-2011 and 2017-present.

During the racism stuff that Collingwood copped, I consistently said that it just didn’t make logical sense that only Collingwood could have partaken in the alleged bad practice. I have finally been vindicated that I was correct.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm

Couple questions I have;
Has Fagan actually re-signed? Or is he just stepping away until the review is over? Geez imagine the Lions were in the GF.
Is it likely Clarkson will re-sign?
If the Roos and Lions all of a sudden need a new coach, that would be insane. (And I reckon the Kangers will look to Hird).

Would Essendon care? They are on the verge of appointing as coach a man who should've received a lifelong ban from any football related position.Presti35 wrote:And to think I was celebrating that Essendon missed out on him.
