Herald Sun still reporting that he hasn't signed and the club is digging in over the behavioural clause .
If correct, that's BS IMO as the standard player contract and everything else gives the club plenty of power to sack him if he stuffs up.
Hopefully common sense prevails. By all means put a trigger after 2 years for the next three, but any trigger should be based on performance.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
Let's hope they get there man. Collingwood saves a mint and can chase hard either this trade period or next. Plus we score a decent pick I say to Collingwood match and trade him.Damien wrote:Channel 9 reckon the Saints are confident that they’ll get him across.
As I have said for ages, best result is he heads elsewhere

No pick if McStay comes in via free agency. I’m not that fussed about saving our powder for 2024. We are in the mix now!derkd wrote:Let's hope they get there man. Good chance we're holding off announcing his re-signing until then.
Sure hope so, aside from coin, cannot see why hed go to a deadbeat club like the Aints, one flag since 1874, shit culture, shit history, playing to small crowds at Marvel, he wont get a flag with those bastards, ever. Our window is just opening now. His manager needs a rocket up him.
