Never see this happen at Geelong.
You just don’t hear about it.
Four legged animals good, two legged animals better
How is there ‘zero value’ in announcing the signing of the most in demand free agent in the competition at our B&F after a season in which we have leapt from second last to a preliminary final???
Ess get JDG, later to be found on the basis of insider trading. Essendon lose draft picks for two years setting them back another 2 decades and Collingwood receives draft compensation. Ideal outcome.
Happy to sacrifice any player for 20 years of Ess pain!

You forgot the part where Brad Scott is certified insane and carted off to an asylum after coaching Essendon for two years and the other 21 applicants for the job are breathing a sigh of relief they missed out on the job.
Collingwood midfielder Jordan De Goey will remain a Magpie after coming to terms with the club.
He has agreed to stay at Collingwood for the next five years with behavioural clauses to apply for the first two seasons of the deal.
De Goey had the full support of Collingwood coach Craig McRae and his teammates but needed to reach a deal that satisfied both the board and the player’s best interests.
More to come

Finally, compromise clearly reached and perfect timing. With free Agency opening today, we couldn't sign McStay until we signed Jordy, expect that deal to now happen quickly.
