Up to the age of 22, Port decided he wasn't going to cut is as a Ruck Forward.

From Age 22 to 25, Adelaide concluded the same thing and tried him in the backline.

In 2021 he played 10 games. Dropped 3 times in that period.

This year he played 6 games straight from round 3 to 8.

Adelaide was 50/50 in the first 6 rounds, but got walloped in round 7 and in round 8.

In round 9, they made 6 changes, and Frampton played his last game with them

Adelaide clearly decided to burn and churn and test other options rather than stay with proven NQR.

Often when sides disappoint, people look for changes... maybe he was a victim of Adelaide having different expectations.

We have enough talent back there. Maybe he is A grade for us.

Welcome to Collingwood Billy. You don't need to be a superstar, you just need to hold down Full Back to release Moore back his intercept CHB role.

Big lad, like McStay, nice kick for goals, looks real good, we will be a pretty tall timber team next season. McRae knows what we need.

WTF in 6 games this year he averaged 18 disposals (best 26, worst 13) and 425m gained, why would anyone let him go.

Looking forward to having Frampton in defence and McStay up forward. With the addition of these two big blokes we certainly won't need to recruit another ruckman.

Only if Cox or Cameron go down or lose form.

Roughead was a premiership ruckman who became our full back, all Frampton has to do is hold down full back, his ability to pinch hit forward or ruck is a bonus, similar with McStay.

Work, pubs, in the street, amongst mates.. they are all Adelaide.

It's bad enough here, but in Adelaide , You cannot do anything right.

Maybe theres too much expectation and too much emphasis on a backmans bad day.
