Totally underestimated - Surprisingly skilled, somehow good when it counted. Unique.

Big lug comes to mind, but that doesn't describe his football.

I had a mini-heart attack when I saw this thread next to Ginnivan’s serial killer one and thought this was about the other Manson.

I remember reading that the year before we recruited him, Manson took 17 marks in a senior game. That was what caught the eye of Collingwood.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️
