Andy Williams. What do we expect from him? After an exceptional 1st 3 rounds last year, many were expecting him to be in our top 5 for the season. Now, he is a nervous wreck, feastering down at Williamstown with his AFL carear slipping down the drain quicker then you can say Go Pies. What does MM do? Leave him in he seniors waiting for him to turn the corner, or leave him at Willi until he can prove he deserves another shot.

Its very unfortunate that his name always comes up. The truth is he hasn't been the same since being knocked out. It's a pity...But crickey! A year on and you should be over it. Cam Cloke was knocked out in the same month twice and came back last night, no excuses he is finished!
Tradition? Pfft you call merging with Fitzroy and cheatin to 3 flags Tradition? Winning 4 flags in a row is history, which makes tradition!

...Give Williams the next 2 full games on the wing/midfield to find touch, if he fails, then he is gone. It would probably be unfair to dump him without one last real chance.
PS. No mick, 20 minutes of gametime for only one week is not a chance.

How old? 25. He is undersized without enough pace to make a small forward in the mould of a Medhurst or Matera. His kicking is inaccurate. Most of the goals he kicked early in 2003 were from lucky crumbing opportunities. Precious few were set shots following a mark.
Chuffed to have seen 3 flag wins in my lifetime but still greedy for more.

Writing was on the wall vs crows. MM quite clearly and catagorically, chose to play young players at their expense. The message is clear. Rookies getting games ahead of you does not inspire confidence that you're heading in the right direction. Williams maybe heading for the door. Careful not to trip over Ben on your way out.
