Cummins had Verreynne caught in slips (by SPD Smithman) for 19. Stumps, Day 4. 6/149. Cummins has 3, Hazlewood 2 and Lyon 1.
South Africa is either 326 runs behind Australia or 46 behind SpecialK, whichever way you prefer to look at it. Or a bit ahead of Smithman (who is Maharaj's bunny).

Returning after his retired "hurt" (i.e exhausted), Warner was bowled by a full toss. Reminds me of England's coach, Baz M., in 2015...
...
And same for Mr NickIt, Khawaja...
Good luck to Khawaja for his almost-double... but England will be as pleased to see him as Warner.
Both innings are worth little... If you wanna know what SCG runs are worth, just look at last year. Two centuries to Mr NickIt. Then what happened in fair conditions in Tassie? The Oz batting in Tassie was atrocious.
And well done to Pat Cummins for declaring. Team first. I reckon it was wrong for Khawaja to say that stuff to the media. ("I think it'd be pretty harsh," etc.) Put the team first. Don't try to box the captain in like FTB Smith does.
^ 1,080 runs by Khawaja at 67.5 in 2022 and 195 without being dismissed in 2023 - and him being awarded the 2022 Alan McGilvray medallist for ABC Sport’s men’s Test cricketer of the year - says that you have no idea about cricket and are just wasting valuable bandwidth.
