Nothing as yet about Neville playing in 2023.

Would be good if he did as his experience & leadership on field was a great asset this year.

Might be a bit of confusion with 2 x Tom Wilsons running around for the VFL Magpies in 2023 with five-time Northern Bullants best and fairest Tom Wilson joining the Collingwood VFL team, where he'll play under his former Ants coach, Josh Fraser.
Fine player and leader, and a great recruit for the Maggies.

Former St Kilda player, Irishman Darragh Joyce, has signed with the VFL Pies.

https://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa ... 29043.html

"There will be no Kilkenny return for former minor All-Ireland winning captain Darragh Joyce as he is set to continue his career in Australia with Collingwood’s VFL team.

Joyce, who captained Kilkenny to All-Ireland minor success in 2014 and is a brother of four-time senior winner Kieran, was delisted by St Kilda earlier this year after six seasons with the Aussie rules club. The Rower-Inistioge club man had hoped to earn an AFL opportunity elsewhere and nominated for the 2022 National Draft last month."

Another 2 to the squad, Jedd Longmire (nephew of John Longmire, from Murray Bushrangers) and Liam Purcell (played 1 game in 2022)

Looks like a few Pies stalwarts are departing - Callan Wellings, Lachie Tardrew (Lazza will be disappointed) and Sam Fowler. Tardrew due to work commitments, Wellings and Fowler signing with lower tier clubs.

"Former Essendon tall Joshua Eyre will play for Collingwood's VFL side in 2023 following his train and trial stint with St Kilda over the summer.

The Kimore product could potentially be utilised as a tall defender for the Magpies, who were set to have former St Kilda backman Darragh Joyce for this year before Brisbane handed the Irishman an AFL lifeline through the SSP."

Lachie Tardrew signing on again is good news.
Hopefully his work commitments don't get in the way of him playing games.
