Jeez some are bit tough on a new player, can't all be Bobby Hill
These sought of injuries usually happens in a tackle attempt and finger getting caught in jumpers of player he was tackling. It happened to De Goey in 2020 and he missed 9 games if remember correctly.
Never disperse your focus unless absolutely necessary. Face one adversary at a time!

I was always skeptical of our pursuit of McStay, as he just didn't seem to be a really good player. But I've been wrong before, and I remember how few people expected Leigh Brown to do much when we recruited him back in the day. Now that he will likely miss several weeks out injured, he may find it difficult to win his spot back, once we have Cox, Cameron, Howe and (hopefully) Kreuger up and about.
Nevertheless, it is too early to be critical of McStay, as he hasn't really had much of a chance to play the role up forward he was recruited for. Hopefully, he recovers quickly and returns to play some great footy for us later in the season.

A lot of people were extremely critical of Cox even after he showed what he could do, now he’s first choice of fit!
But the one thing he does help is structure and Mihocek benefits from another option the defence has to worry about.
But because he replaced a player who was loved by some he’ll never win them over, especially when they refuse to accept McStay was a part of a large package to replace their former favourite player, who have all been crucial to us being 4-1.
