"Shubman Gill has booked Gujarat Titans a top-two finish and a playoff place with his first century in the Indian Premier League.
That inspired a 34-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad, who were knocked out of playoff contention by the defeat.
Gill's 101 off 58 balls spearheaded defending champions Gujarat to 9-188. Hyderabad could muster only 9-154 as Gujarat fast bowlers Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma shared eight wickets.
