Tipping port to just edge the dees at home. 6 points
North to just get over the hapless swans at docklands 10 points
dogs to win at a cold and wet mars by 12 points
cats just to pip freo at perth by 12 points
Good result for Collingwood keeps Melbourne at bay and kind of levels things off in the top 4.
Thinking Melbourne aren’t as invincible as people think.
Just hoping that suns can win in the q clash and the cats lose in Perth.
That was a fabulous match. Lycette beats Grundy (again)
That was some match by Butters, Rosee (?spelling) and the hyphen. Best I’ve seen those 3 play.
I thought exactly the same WPT. Such an entertaining game, despite the conditions. I felt like I was watching the Pies play wih the way Port went about it - belief, courage, determination, PRESSURE (for three quarters anyway:) Very happy that they pipped the highly feted Dees.
Those three young players you mention were simply fantastic - especially Butters. He attacked the game with great pace, skill and ferocity throughout. 3 Brownlow votes for sure. Rozee was a great second lieutenant and JHF is surely going to be something really special. He's such an enormous raw talent, who already has great stamina.
