Did it easy really. Never flustered despite the commentary trying to get some interest in the game. Had 3 more gears.

Pleasing, got four very valuable points, should have won by more really, but the Umps made sure we didnt. Jack Ginni is now public enemy no. 1 in the maggots book, and it must cease. Yeh, good win, we started very well, which surprised me, and basically won it in the first half. We won, we annihilate Nth next week, for Sidey and Cox, and its onwards and upwards. !

Man, I remember when I was young chatting to my cousin about the ledger & the Scum were like 15 or so games in front.
We’re both like, we’ll be in our 40s or 50s by the time we even it up.
Funnily enough, both of us were in our 40s when it finally evened up, just like I predicted all the way back then.

Darcy Moore is elite. Completely nullified their talls.

I think the players were so prepared for an onslaught first half that when it didn’t materialize, they took the foot off the whole last half knowing they could phone it in.

Happy with the 4 points against the hated rival. Suffer in yer jocks Scumbaggers. :P

Moore was legendary today. Record number of contested marks. Checkers fantastic. Ash with the MOTY (which means he won't get it). But great. Sidey rested in the last - to be fresh for game 300. Cameron got through the game. Plus. Great first quarter and then we fell asleep. Can't afford that against a really top side. Percentage in the next two weeks (North and Wet Toast who were murdered today), and then the challenge against the Dees. Must be sharp again for that one.

Too much of the Harlem Globetrotters today, and not enough kicking the footy up the corridor.

Finally, does Ginni not have a head? And to those pathetic pretenders in yellow, yet again you've shown that 4 umpires is worse than 3 and 3 umpires is worse than 2. I wish Glen James was out there by himself today. He'd have done a better job and been more honest. Get back to a two umpire system. Too many numbskulls out there in yellow at the moment.

The next two weeks we must cash the cheque and get 100 point consecutive wins.

Magnificent. That first quarter was scintillating.

Set up the win with our first quarter and a half but finishing the game with less scoring shots is indicative that it was far from a 4 quarter performance.

What's better than beating Carlton by 1 point in the last round to knock them out of the finals?

Not much, but doing them slowly on a Sunday arvo is right up there.

Was a professional victory. A controlled performance.

Umps handing them cheap goals kept their hopes intact and we just didn't drive the nails in at all. We seemed content against the most hated scum on Earth to just hold them at bay and cruise to a nice, just a nice win.

Missed an opportunity to annihilate them. And this has left me unsatisfied which is odd because any win over Carlton is usually taken without question. Today I feel we missed a chance to make a big statement and REALLY END their season.
