For what it’s worth, McRae stated pretty bluntly in his post-match press conference that he won’t be resting players for this game.

No doubt WHE comes in to the 22 for Sidebottom, but, presuming no other changes, the interesting question becomes who we pick as 23rd man. Macrae seems the most obvious in and has been an emergency several weeks running, but Carmichael’s been in very good form in the VFL of late so you’d have to think that would come into consideration. Not sure we have the right role available for Harrison or McInnes.

West Coast are weaker than North Melbourne, so no excuse not to win this by in excess of 50+ points.

Won't get a better opportunity for a % booster.

With our bye only 2 weeks away, I wouldn’t have thought we would rest too many. Real opportunity to get our % above 140.

75 points please. BUT. There’s something about the Weagles against the pies. Bit of a bogey team for us. Last beating first could happen.

Last year we played them at Marvel Stadium in Round 4 and lost to them unexpected. They had some players out with Covid.

We should outnumber them.in the stands. They're only half filling Optus.

Show no mercy! We have to put up with these half wits and their Dom Sheed bullshit for the last 5 years. We must crush them!

My last game of football with a full voice. Pies by at least 10 goals.... please!

Thank you fuzz.

Long story (it's in the VPT) short. Tracheal cancer operation next week and I'm losing one of my vocal chords. Quite a strange feeling as I have a pretty loud/deep voice. Anyway, it's not gunna kill me, so all good :)

Yeah, I agree that Macrae deserves a spot next week. I wouldn't be surprised if WHE is rested, after receiving a very heavy knock to his ribs in the last quarter. He was hunched over on the ground for some time, so I hope he is ok. If he gets rested, then we might see Harrison or Allan debut.

Like others, I'm hoping for a big win, to further boost our percentage, but in reality any win will be fine.

Pies by 38 points.

Enough of this nervous talk. We actually might embarrass WCE if we really want to. We’re on top, rarely out of second gear, and have lost just one game (to the other premiership fancy away from home). The mercy rule might be activated at half time. Pies by 50+ coasting.
