If Moore is rested, it looks like Frampton is available and can be a plug and play.

That makes sense. I'm also thinking if Elliott is out, maybe Harrison finally gets his chance?

Hopefully they see this as an opportunity to get game time into those deserving a chance, namely: Carmichael, Macrae and Allan.

McRae has a need, a need for speed and it's why HH has found himself I suspect in the side ahead of others like a Bianco or Macrae.

If you're one paced under Fly you'll need to be elite like Pendlebury or a Mitchell, fill a specific role like a KP or provide a skill not so easily found like Ginnivan and his knack for kicking goals.

and his knack for kicking goals: provided that the umpires don't allow him to be knackered before he can do so.

Outs: Sidey and Elliott

Ins: Harrison and Hoskins-Elliott

I think that Eliiott has been sore for around a month- the rest will do him heaps of good.

Hoskin-Elliott a good replacement for Sidebottom

I think Ed Allen goes west as Substitute...
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...

How does this reflect on Finn McCrae that more recent recruits are getting gigs ahead of him?

^ Personally, I don't think it reflects much on Finn McCrae at all. HH is a natural like for like replacement for Jamie.
I think Finn is very much in the mix for selection against the Eagles in order to cover the absence of Sidey in some way.

I am surprised by Harrisson's selection, good goal last week.

However, last year, I had a couple of 'who's that?' moments.
For those moments he really looked a above. Damaging when he got it. He then apparently got close to selection before injury ended his year.

Coaches obviously rate him and want to give him a go in the firsts. Excellent opportunity for the kid this week.

Always special having a first gamer.

Story goes he was one of those people who got Covid really bad. Seriously knocked him about and was never the same in the second half of the 2022 season. I think he also did a hamstring later in that season too but the Covid impacted any full recovery well before the hamstring injury.
