Head's century leads Aussie fightback in ICC Test C'ship.

When Rohit Sharma sent the Aussies in, it looked a good move, at 3/76, but Steve Smith and Travis Head have since added 159 (unf.) for the 4th. wicket.
Australia 3/238. Dave Warner 43, Head 100* (106), Smith 51*.

So, just the unbeaten 251 partnership. Good effort by Head. As far as the other guy is concerned, all I can say is that it was disappointing to see India so relentlessly destroy his defective technique, again.

Can see Aust making at least the magic 500 then declareing.

Weather is fine days 2 and 3 only a light shower or two day 4 and becoming fine on day 5.

Smith and Head batting really well and expect Smith to chalk up his 100 and Head his 150.

Green is next to come in and bat.

Real decent total day 1 and get to 500 is the key on day 2.

Would that other bloke be the one that Virat Kohli has just labelled the best test batsman of this generation?

^ Goodness, Stui, I don't know. In that link, Kohli's comments are reported this way:
"According to me, Steve Smith is the best Test player of this generation. He has displayed that, his adaptability is absolutely brilliant. You take any cricketer of this generation," Kohli said ahead of the ongoing World Test Championship final between India and Australia.
These sorts of comments are triggering for some on Nick's. To be fair, perhaps a sub-editor got Steve Smith confused with Kane Williamson?

I should add that the really terrible thing is that CricInfo is asking what happened to India that they allowed this to happen "in helpful bowling conditions". That must be another error because we all know that "FTB" can only make runs on "roads" - after all, he only averages a paltry 62.82 in England because he is just useless against the moving ball.

Is that 31 test centuries now? That's a fkn lot of roads he's batted on.

Head out for 163, Aus 4-365
