Likewise, Dan McStay, and Ginni (who hopefully can re-establish his claim for a position in our forward line in the VFL tomorrow.)
All of the above is true however:

* a guy called Sidebottom will be back in 2-3 weeks.
* I'm not certain that Ginnivan will come into this team- there seems to be an appetite to give Harrison some exposure given that he is very quick- still, if it were a Grand Final next week, Ginnivan is in the 23.
* McStay will need to play very well to dislodge anyone (Frampton or Mihocek or Cox for example)
* McStay may get a 'McStay' of execution if Mihocek does not come up next week.
* Maynard and McCreery would need to be dead to miss a game

Out: ??????

Great Win here are some of my Thoughts:

Great to win a Game by 10+ Goals

We dominated in the 1st Half but the Suns where about as good as the Eagles in the 1st Half

We Dominated in the Middle of the Ground which been lacking against Better Sides

Umps where Terrible

Love how Nick Daicos got some of his Clearnces coming thru Full Pace

Sucks about Maynards Possible Injuries

Markov and Noble remind me of Toovey. Player that gives 100% or More but Disposal at times can let them down

Good to See Elliot kick a Bag as been down most of the Season

Backline was Fantastic

Frampton showed he could play Back/Forward/Ruck

Quyanor was Huge

Adams and Mitchell provide a lot of Grunt even when there not the Best Kicks

Just caught up watching delayed. Save 10 minutes very happy with that performance.
GC were woeful but our pressure and dare was back.

Can’t recall who was saying it but apparently we have actual switches we throw on and off. It MUST be a game plan to slow down in the third and we haven’t quite got it right yet.

JDG comes in, NFI who goes out. Great problem to have. Imagine if McStay kicks a bag tomorrow? Checkers a rest?

No going back sideways and slow footy.
It is blast them them out.
So so glad we got rid of Bux.
Hasn't everything looked up since then.

I think there is no doubt that Fly has been transformational. Not just in the game style (Bux was an ultra-defensive coach, while clearly Fly is the opposite in philosophy). Even more importantly, I think Fly has an ability to instil confidence, optimism, happiness in every player, and thereby create an incredible willingness to subordinate oneself to the entire team. Our team is a perfect illustration of the phenonomen in which the unity of the team elevates it far above the sum of its individual parts.
But we must also remember that the arrival of Fly occurred at the same time as the arrival of Josh Daicos as a star, and the arrival also of his brother as a star. Together, these two are once again an illustration of the phenonomen where the total is more than the sum of the constituent parts. Fly had the benefit of this enormous injection of talent into the team.

I agree to a certain extent, but to be fair, Bucks did bring in some of these then kids, like Beau, Murphy, Quarner, etc in his last yr of tenure, to blood them then, and he did teach our defence to be lean an mean, in defensive work. But to be sure, Fly has us playing a much better attacking, chaos , mass swarming game, very exciting, undoubtedly based on the Tigers model that netted them 3 flags. Fly was at the tigers, he learnt from that game style. :o
Bucks also never had Nick D, Josh D is much improved, no Mitchell, Cox can see. Fly’s going great but don’t argue it’s only the coach that changed.

Like others have posted I was expecting a tight contest like the one we played them up there last year. Instead pies blew them off the park with brilliant team football in the first half especially. Good signs looking forward to finals with De Goey and Sidebtoom big ins to come. dons might do us a favour tonight as well

I didn't think he struggled. I thought he was highly effective at many moments. I just think that his brilliance is now being overshadowed by the brilliance of others (namely, JNDaicos). He no longer has to be the superstar to drag us across the line, or to inspire us to new heights. He can now limit himself to brilliance in episodic moments, rather than all the time.

I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️
