Very odd time.
The only I can think of is that it allows people time to get to the AFL game at Marvel.

Bulldogs are football nomads at present with no home ground due to the works at Whitten oval.

Just watched the last 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter. we're coming back! 54 - 31.
Nice goals to Ginny and Steene.

Commentators mentioned that McStay didn't play any of the 1st quarter.

20 point loss in the end, McStay had a dirty day, needs a couple more in the VFL before getting a call up.

I do like the look of Josh Eyre.

Josh Eyre has been pretty good in the last couple of games.

Not a good game for the rucks though, lost hitouts 60 to 14 but clearances were almost even.

Yeah, Darcy is huge and that Street guy looks almost as big. Pushing shit uphill in the ruck.

Unfortunately our VFL side has a bye next week so it's hard to imagine they'll hold off returning McStay to the senior side until he gets another opportunity at VFL level.

The availability of Mihocek and the result tonight will make a stronger case as to whether he is or isn't an automatic inclusion next round.

Ginnivan was pretty good overall despite the disappointing failure to score in the last.

He kicked a couple and it felt like he had a hand in a couple more following some team orientated actions.

Given he's not blessed with speed or size it's his forward nous that has gotten him to this point and I thought it was on show today.

Contracted until the end of 2024 I believe, I for one hope we stick fat with Macrae and don't entertain any trade offers and/or request because right now he and we are doing the hard yards that hopefully set him up for future success.
.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
