Is that plural, or a collective-noun?

Swans academy selection. Played his junior footy in NSW. Wouldn’t think he’d be going anywhere.piedys wrote:Okay, so... Errol Gulden for Sydney.
His stocks are rapidly rising; is he gettable for a return to Victoria, or have the pox ducks got him tied up long term?
He'd be a great replacement for Adams/Sidey in a year or two?
Have read in several places that all of our commitments to Grundy will cease this year (ie if we were paying $100k a year for 6 years we have paid $600k this year).gurugeoff wrote:We could afford him if we not were paying for Grundy and treloarpiedys wrote:Have our doubts we could afford him; he'd be up there $$$?Gerry Cooper wrote:Aaron Naughton is a free agent next year. Hopefully Baron Von Himmelberg, or Ben McKay aren't too pricey?
Is there a trade to be done with Finn McRae, and maybe this year’s first rounder for Naughton? We don’t want to lose the young midfielder but he will have some currency as a ready made mid who might want to get game time with his brother. Let’s be honest, you gotta give something to get something…
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm
He is a Swans Academy player from Maroubra Sydneypiedys wrote:Okay, so... Errol Gulden for Sydney.

Ah, just checked his bio on Swans website, which suggests you are quite correct.Pies2016 wrote:Swans academy selection. Played his junior footy in NSW. Wouldn’t think he’d be going anywhere.piedys wrote:Okay, so... Errol Gulden for Sydney.

I thought I saw him interviewed earlier this year, and mentioned he grew up in victoria? Perhaps I misheard...
Anyhoo, Justin McInerney would be my next gettable target....

They'd have to be crazy to give up Naughton so easily.
Recruit Paddy Dow the Fire Sale
Carlton shall tip this former pick 3 out at seasons end due to a glut of midfielders and they cannot guarantee him sufficient midfield time. He shall be offloaded in the manner that Setterfield, Scrimshaw, Scully, Bowes, Peter Wright, Brodie and Finlayson were in recent seasons. That being the recipient gave up nothing. In our case Pick 74 would get it done.
Yes his kicking has been the knock, but how often do former Pick 3's whom are 6ft 2 and 23 years old come your way without some baggage and have enough other traits to go on and play 150+ games. C'mon Wrighty do it!!

I would take him for free, if only to boost our VFL depth.
Every time I've watched him play he has panicked under pressure and butchers the ball horribly.
In summary, no thanks.

What does that say about our mids then. When Cerra came off against us he just took over at the clearances, he backed it up last week against the Saints, yet we can’t buy a centre clearance at the minute.LaurieHolden wrote:Paddy Dow sleeps with the light on.
Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy.
