Would be so typical of the arrogant self centred sob if he did a year after refusing to leave Melbourne and denying us any trade power.

Question without notice, how would you feel if Grundy wanted to come "home" too us, on a much lesser contract ?? Just asking.

Didn’t he very recently sign a two year contract extension with Collingwood?

Nope, no chance. The second ruck has to have a second string to their bow. Cox is close to be dropped as his forward craft has dropped off markedly.

Won't happen, plus it's time to move on from him.

It would have to be a VFL level contract as that’s where he’d be playing.

wow, I cant see him getting back into the Deeees best team, bloody Gawn literally dominated today, he smashed the tigers on his own nearly, so thats bad news for Grundy, he went to the wrong club, thats obvious now.

Gawn might have polled 9 votes in 3 games without Grundy. Grundy won't be a Demon in 2024.

He won't go to GC is Dimma is coach. Dimma wont overpay for a ruckman. Port - well depends on who the coach is.

No matter what, the Dees will be on the hook for some of his salary.

^^ Yup. Gawn got a perfect 10 votes from the coaches last game.

On AAA they said:

Gawn played 100% game time.
All his major stats have doubled since Melb. dumped Grundy.
If he plays like that for the remaining 4 games, he'll be the AA ruckman.

And defender Petty played forward and kicked a lazy 6 goals.

Matthew Lloyd reckons:

Petty looked at home forward.
There's no place for Grundy forward.
There's no place for Grundy in the ruck.
And Melb. can't flirt with form. So Grundy is toast.

IF Goldstein retires, as is very likely, he could end up at Norf, under ol Clarko. Hope he enjoys playing in front of 12 000 fans at Norf home games, if that does come to pass. ! Karma says hello.

No, if he is traded then any deal with Collingwood is void, which may bite us if the rumours were true we paid it all up this year!

In the three games without Grundy bogging him down, Gawn has polled 27 out of a max 30 coaches' votes.

In the previous 16 Melb games, Gawn and Grundy combined have polled 27 out of a max 256 coaches' votes.
