At the end of the day Brisbanes full strength team beat us away from our home ground by just 24 points whilst we were missing 5-6 key players.
Yet we haven’t played them at the MCG since 2017, that’s 6 seasons without a single game at our home ground, how does that work out?

It beggars belief that Carmichael has not been able to play a game this year after showing last year that he was AFL level.
Flys biggest mistake as coach has been his reluctance to rotate players through the team particularly in the latter half of the season.
This error is now biting us hard as players are getting injured and the replacements have not had enough exposure at AFL level,
Adams and Mitchell are becoming liabilities with the lack of pace and in Adams case, poor disposal.
I know he is only young but McCreery missing a simple 15m kick to Howe was the catalyst for dismal last quarter. You cannot make those simple skill errors at this stage of the season and expect to win the premiership.
Lions went to the other end and didn’t make those elementary errors. Instead the kicked well and win the game.
Plenty of up side if Fly is daring enough to make the necessary changes.
