MCG. Thursday, Sept 7. 7.20 (to be confirmed).

First final since 1989 for these 2 teams.

Darcy Moore, Beau McCreery and Nathan Murphy in.

John Noble, Billy Frampton and Finlay Macrae have been omitted. Jack Ginnivan will start as the Substitute.

Melbourne game against Sydney on now.

Jake Melksham definitely injured. Looked like his knee gave way.

Bayley Fritsch possibly injured… left foot. Went off the ground and has come back on.

Both would be big outs for the Dees.

It's basically an elimination QF. Lose and the path to the GF is through the Gabbatoir, which is nigh on impossible.

That was a scarily impressive win by the Dees. Sydney had everything to play for and Melbourne nothing, but they still won, and won well.

As far as injuries to the Dees, it’s only Melksham who MAY miss from todays game. Looked a bit like Sideys knee, fairly innocuous and then it just gave way. He would be a significant blow to their forward line, so we wait on their injury report.
