James Stewart is available (!!!).

Delisted by Essendon with a year left on his contract. How does that work?? They just pay him out like a sacked coach???

He's 29.

Nah, he really struggled this year to make any impact. Prefer others.

Agree. Very happy to see Markov receive an extension.

Like others here, I'm less enthusiastic about Kreuger receiving an extension. He's only played 7 senior games with us since he crossed over from Geelong.

An article in Adelaide Now (might also be on News. com ) is linking Liam Henry from the Dockers to Collingwood - nothing else to the story than that .

What's Liam Henry's deal?

At different stages of the season, the Pies have been linked with Miles Bergman ( half back/wing ) Max Holmes ( wing ) and now Liam Henry ( wing ) ) The common denominator is pace and outside run and carry. There’s enough evidence to suggest one of our major off season focusses is to add more pace between the arcs.
Wouldn’t mind any one of the three of them, although I think Bergman has recently re - signed.

Yes, Bergman has signed on with Port for 2 more years, I like the idea of Liam Henry at the pies

Must be looked at for a rookie listing, even if Dopers don't do the same.

Interesting listening to the discussion around Port Adealaides Ryan Burton who was part of the 2018 Wingard to Hawthorn trade.

Burton had just signed a 3 year deal and was on an end of season trip with the Hawks. He received a call from his manager advising him that the Hawks had tabled him as part of the trade.
Burton a former 2015 #19 draft pick, was offerred up with pick #13 and pick #35 to secure 2011 pick # 6 Wingard.

If the drums beating on Bailey Smith are to get any louder, it's worth remmebering he was a #7 2018 draft pick.
Point being he won't come cheap, but Wingard already had 3× 22 Under 22 team and 2x All Australians under his belt.

To date Bailey Smith has 4x 22under22 team gongs (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023).

So far we are into Bailey Smith (Bulldogs) and Liam Henry (Dockers)
In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away

Smith, Henry, Holmes.
Holmes is probably the pick of the three.

Smith has a history and Henry can go missing a lot.
Holmes is an elite runner and he was the difference in the last 2 mins of our QF against the cats last year. He's highly rated.

Pick 18 will start the conversation.

Did anyone see anything in Ratugolea when we played Geelong that would justify Hawthorn's reported $5 mill, 7 year offer?

After that game, I thought "hard pass".
