Watching on 7, that's a hell of a view across the ground out to the bay.

Willy 3:2 20 to 0:2. Fairly ordinary effort so far by Collingwood but Williamstown had the use of a cross breeze. Need to improve heaps if we are to win game.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

Unfortunately second quarter proceeding much like the first.

Williamstown 7.2.44
Collingwood 1.3.9

Into time-on in the second term. I haven't watched the whole thing, but Dean has shown some good signs in defence. Bianco and Johnson have had some bad turnovers, and Johnson has blown his two shots at goal (though it's very windy obviously).

Final score:

Williamstown 12.10.82
Collingwood 3.9.27

A complete bloodbath. We kicked it straight to their defenders approximately a million times.

Commentators reckoned Bianco was our best player by a long way. Johnson left the field around half-time with an injured wrist, apparently.

Sad to think we saw a number of senior-listed players in the black and white for the last time today.

That was an elimination final for a few Collingwood careers. Fighting for a VFL grand final AND a call up to the big league.

My wife and i took a trip there yesterday it is a great spot really nice, a pity the Pies couldn't make a good game of it though. Got very cold in the 2nd half with the sea breeze.
Cheers big ears

Casey played footscary at box hill oval in elim.

Pies played Willy at Wily in elim.

Ones neutral for one elim not the other one.

Does not make sense.

Willy at willy was always going to end in defeat.

But t another ground we woul have been a chance.

Poor fixturing once again/

Wild card should have been played at olympic park as well.

Watched the 2nd half on TV, and it was difficult viewing.

No real standouts unfortunately, and just a dirty day in front of goal.
