Been listening to a few of the trade shows/podcasts.
Any interest in these KPP players??
Mabior Chol: 26yr, 2m. Has 2yrs left on a deal on good cash though. But is categorically available and easily gettable.
Dougal Howard: 27, 1.99m. Saints would trade if an offer was made.
Tom Morris reported that the Suns would move Elijah Hollands, pick 7 2020 draft. 189cm played 9 games with 6 goals.
Apparently Dockers would want a mid-late 1st round pick for Liam Henry, pick 9 in 2019 draft.
The Naughton to Pies was a text rumour he put to Tom Morris, and Tom said all 17 clubs would be interested if he wants to leave.

Henry has requested to be traded - not sure if there are many clubs interested in him.Pies2016 wrote:At different stages of the season, the Pies have been linked with Miles Bergman ( half back/wing ) Max Holmes ( wing ) and now Liam Henry ( wing ) ) The common denominator is pace and outside run and carry. Wouldn’t mind any one of the three of them, although I think Bergman has recently re - signed.

Being in this fishbowl over here in WA Ive seen a bit of LH. I actually rate him and in the right team i rekon he would fire. Not saying we should look at him but i think is a great player.think better wrote:Henry has requested to be traded - not sure if there are many clubs interested in him.Pies2016 wrote:At different stages of the season, the Pies have been linked with Miles Bergman ( half back/wing ) Max Holmes ( wing ) and now Liam Henry ( wing ) ) The common denominator is pace and outside run and carry. Soon as Henry moved from small pressure forward to the wing where he had some space, his footy improved dramatically. He had a big second half in 2023. Doesn’t sound like we’re at the pointy end of the interest for him but I’d suggest his pace and neat skills would easily get him a game in our seniors more often than not in 2024.

Mitch Georgiades might do well under Fly?
Not sure any club takes that on until he’s back playing decent footy again.
Around the time Melb. dumped Grundy, Pie-supporting journo Jay Clark suggest a swap of Georgiades for Grundy. But surely Georgiades is more valuable than that?
Answer: yep. He was a 1st-rounder in 2019. The swap price for Grundy is now believed (by Port) to be a 2nd-rounder --- as long as Melbourne pay part of Grundy's salary.

I agree but i sense it's a two way street. One: players want to come and 2: Our club reaches out to player managers baiting player interest. Don't think we have been that active on this second part. At the end of 2024, it's likely that:Rick wrote:After 2 improved seasons I’m a little surprised Collingwood still isn’t a destination club like the Hawks, Tigers, Dees and Cats have been, hell, even the Blues have been preferred by ‘bigger’ names.

shall retire leaving north of $1,500,000 and three fresh spots on the list to fill. If Naughton was the target, you'd think the Dogs would ask for two first round picks for him and justifiably so. Like all experts in retrospect, we should have taken him at Pick 6 in 2017.
I love the Pies, hate Carlscum

FWIW, the 2014 draft become Unrestricted Free Agents in 2024.
Of the top 30, 19 players remain listed that were due to fall out contract in 2024. Of those unsigned, you would think it's worth getting in touch with Duggan's agent.
