The pressure is all on them to replicate 2021.
One team finished 1st two games clear the other finished 4th.
One team has won a Granny in the last 5 yrs the other hasn’t.
IMO pressure is on Fly.
If last year repeats, the record will be 6 finals played for 2 wins and 4 losses.
Speaking to some Melbourne supporters at work who are a bit annoyed Noble isn’t playing. They’re now talking about exposing Markov in one-on-one contests. Made my coffee, kept my mouth shut, and got out of there with a grin on my face.
I’m confident. We’re a different side compared to last time when half our team was running to the toilet due to the flu/gastro, and key players out injured/suspended. I hope it makes the Dees cocky and arrogant and thinking they’ve won the game just by turning up. Got a feeling we’ll see pressure like we brought last year against them.
If I'm Fly I'm pricking the pride of Adams, reminding him that Viney isn't the only junkyard dog playing tonight, he's in the same weight division so there is no excuse if he can't match Viney for going low and hard.
I want to see Adams at his angry nasty best tonight.

Adams is the last bloke you need to tell that to. He's the spirit animal of this side. Adams loves playing finals football, tonight will be no different.

On the BF website, the Melbourne supporters I read there were puzzled as to why we would have dropped Noble....obviously the Melbourne supporters at your workplace are more knowledgeable.

This is equivalent to a GF. A loss and it's pretty much game over man!
May as well award the cup tonight then.
If we don't win tonight and can’t go the hard way around then we CLEARY won’t deserve to be premiers. I think our best is good enough to beat anyone, anywhere - including Brisbane up there if that’s what’s required.
See, Nathan aren’t gonna let the ‘Riff down!
As for COLL, I dunno!

But... IF a big arse wet shit storm hits the CBD before game time, and settles in, can we still for argument's sake change our SUB and perhaps remove a ruck from the starting 23?
