2 places I have wanted to go back to, Yellowstone, which is hard to get to, and very expensive, especially right now, and The Icefields parkway that runs from Banff national Park to Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.

Last time it was the start of spring, everything was still frozen, it was where I discovered my love for photography, this time it was late summer, and I knew what I was doing! it was just the most incredible experience:

Lake Louise - panoramic view made from i think 4 shots just as the sun went behind the mountain, ie, first sunset!

Image

everybody's shot! we had 2 nights at a hotel 500 metre walk from the lake, it was amazing

I climbed a hill to get this!

from the other end of the lake, its 2klm long

whats at the other end of the lake! taken the next morning

sudden brake lights generally means wildlife at the side of the road!

just wandering around our cabin in Jasper!

So the big attraction near Jasper is Meligne Lake, which well, was a nice lake, but for me this place was spellbinding, and the story of it is amazing! it drains through sink holes every summer! like a big bath tub!

this was quite a hike to get down to in 35 degree heat!

Canada has had an horrific bushfire season

Geezus, great pics.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
