Via the powerful communication medium, SMS, the rumour from the big mouth pigs bum at Carlscum is that Colonial stadium will go into receivership within the next four weeks!!! He announced this at the Carlscum's B&F not more than 30 mins ago.
Aren't we all glad that S&dumb took up the option of being the #1 tennant and not us? We were asked first after all.

If true, it probably means that Ch.7 and more improtantly the AFL do plenty of dough.
Since the AFL is (supposed to be) the clubs, then our club and the others will have blown more money than they could have ever imagined between Wavely's decline and an unsound iunvestment in an ill concieved new stadium. Colonial had the potential to be something special but the reduction in planned capacity and unbelievable poor planning meant it was always going to struggle. How they couldn't figure some as important as an entrance system and growing grass out is beyond me.
If this is true then anyone at the AFL who was responsible for this mess has no right to remain employed by the clubs as thier representative to run either the game, a football itinery or an after match BBQ.
