This is probably why...Donny wrote:Several members gave Murph their 5 votes in the GB Medal votes.
I'm interested to know why. He had 11 disposals and 1 tackle. Others didn't mention him.
Don't get me wrong. I love the bloke. He always puts in.
Just wondering.
A game high of 16 one percenters.
Next best was Moore with 11
Equal 2nd best 8 intercepts
90.9 % disposal efficiency, mostly under extreme pressure
Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood.
Very soild, very hard at it, gives the contest everything and reads the game well. He's one of my favourites - but I didn't have him in the votes because he wasn't in our top 5 players, last night.Donny wrote:Several members gave Murph their 5 votes in the GB Medal votes.

That’s a fair question, followed by a great statistical response.FrankieGoesToCollingwood wrote:This is probably why...Donny wrote:Several members gave Murph their 5 votes in the GB Medal votes.

I would add to that by saying his involvements were so impactful. Most of what he did really cleared the immediate danger zone for us and allowed us to reset. He also had the big job of stopping Finlayson for a lot of the night ( more so early ) and Finlayson had been good for them in recent weeks. FWIW, I would have easily had Murphy amongst the very best but not the best. Murphy’s biggest strength is that he knows his game so well. He plays the percentages really well and that’s a key quality for any last line defender.
That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it. As are others.Pies4shaw wrote:Very soild, very hard at it, gives the contest everything and reads the game well. And this supporters award to Murphy...
Murphy must hate Adelaide Oval [Moron Park mk.II]; every time he plays here, some cowardly DOG snipes him; 3/3 times in 2023!
NEVER EVER have I seen this occur before!
vs.St.Rapist - sniped by their thug; 3 weeks
vs. Cows - shirtfronted by Dogarty; subbed off with concussion, misses Anzac Day as a result
vs. Powder Puffs - sniped by bitch slapper Rioli

Click on players link > then click on individual player and then scroll through for a statistical summary of that players numbers. This includes 1 %ers and a heap of other “ value added “ data.
Nathan Murphy – most courageous?
Can't believe Nathan Murphy doesn't win the most courageous.
Beau wins it. Yes He chases and tackles hard..
But he is not my idea of courageous.
Murph is the epitome of courage. Puts his body on the line. all the time.
He deserves more acknowledgement . Disappointed he doesn't get the recognition from his own team.
