My omen was reading our prime minister trying to be funny this morning but more importantly realising he was backing Brisbane. That's when I knew it was our day!!!

I found a Magpie feather at the start of the year and put it on my desk like a talisman, and it didn't let me down.

Last 3 games I've attended:

Lost by 4 points.

Our Premiership Captain came into the Club with the short back and sides.
His locks have since grown and reportedly are as soft and strong as a unicorn's mane.
Do his flowing locks possess Samson like qualities? Were they key in us securing no.16?

I don't believe in omens but....

In 1958 Collingwood won the premiership. They were rank outsiders and that is regarded by some as being Collingwood's most meritorious victory.

In the first game of the 1959 season Collingwood was drawn to play South Melbourne, the predecessor of the Sydney Swans. Before the game, the 1958 Premiership Flag was unfurled in front of the social club at Victoria Park amidst much fanfare. Collingwood was hot favourites to win this game but got smacked by South Melbourne 60 to 101.

Of cause, that has nothing whatsoever to do with tonight's game. Luckily Bob Skilton won't be playing.

Its Magpies in the garden for me. And I haven't seen one since the start of the season.
We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.

More superstitious behaviour on my behalf than an omen.

I own four Collingwood guernseys and wear one on match days, either whilst attending a game or watching on television when they play interstate. If Collingwood are victorious I don't wash the guernsey, but leave it out to be worn the next game. My cleaning lady knows her position will be terminated instantly should she wash or otherwise disturb this guernsey. If Collingwood lose, I throw it in the laundry hamper after the game to be washed, and retrieve a clean, different one from the wardrobe the following match day to be worn. My question is, after a draw, do I wash and replace the current guernsey or not?
I am the future
