More on the 'timed out' of Mathews.
One of the umpires (Ian someone) stated Mathews had already used up his 2 minutes, before his crash-hat strap broke.
He also confirmed that Shakib DID appeal and he refused, twice, to re-call Mathews, when asked if he wanted to, by the umps.
Donny.
It's a game. Enjoy it.

Brisk start by the Banglas.
0/17 after 2 overs.
As I typed that, Tanzid Hasan was out, to Madushanka.

Equipment failure is not a cause for being timed out. I mean how many times have we seen batsmen having trouble with pads and taking time to get ready again? I have never timed it but I will say that on some occasions, a change of equipment has taken a similar time that upset the poor Bangle possums. I reckon the umpires were weak not to ask the Bangles whingers to pull their heads in, instead of appeasing their big noting sooking behaviour.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm

Rashid Khan's turn to destroy FTB Smith's defective technique?
Rashid has taken only 7 WC wickets so far.
Zampa has taken 19 at 17.05. His 3/21 was "the most miserly 10-over spell of the tournament".
