Your grandkids will be thanking you for the debt that they will still be paying off long after you have left thanks to the grub that you accepted.
No amount of blaming Trump or Musk will change the reality of what that incompetent fool did to this state.
You've been played by Murdoch, it's like getting your footy news from Robbo.
How so?? ….is Dans debt (by 2026 will be equal to NSW, QLD and Tasmania’s debts combined) not real??

Btw, I think that we are drifting of topic here.

Dans debt is hilarious, it's like Murdoch has his hand up everyone's arse and makes them mouth his buzzwords, wouldn't matter if it was caused by externals, wouldn't matter if it was social, financial or moral, they'll make sure you parrot the line right on up to the goose stepping, that's when the fun begins

Murdoch lives in your head, just the way he wanted.

Isn’t that the point of owning the majority of a country’s media? He lives in all of our heads because he paid to be there.

You can always switch off. Murdoch doesn’t force you to watch or listen to his media.

The point of course is that you don’t get to switch off from a society and political structure influenced by his control of media.

Ironically, your post is a case in point: seeing how public opinion is shaped as being a mere individual consumer choice and not having structural impact is itself Murdoch ideology. He didn’t invent that opinion, but he’s certainly done a lot to disseminate it over the past fifty years.

I think you are stretching this to the limit just to hold firm to your preconceived opinion.
It always amuses me how lefties begrudge the influence of Murdoch but never denounce the de platforming conducted by twitter and facebook.

….and it’s about time the ABC was defunded and made into a subscription service. It would probably be bankrupt within a year or two for lack of viewers.

Look, anyone who doesn't think Victoria has a debt problem must get all their news from Dan's Social Media. That's not a Murdoch invention, it's been widely reported and analysed across multiple platforms including The Age and the ABC, neither of which Murdoch control.

If Murdoch had a fraction of the power that some people seem to believe he has, the Labor party would never get elected.

Just remember that your mate Adolph was a socialist.
He is more your ideology than mine.

I’ll get the popcorn out and await your feeble attempt to deflect that one.
