On the Track (training updates) 2024

Post by LaurieHolden »

Off-season return dates:

1-4 year players: November 27
Other: December 4

H&A season training:
Full squad training kicks off Monday 15th January.
Training is usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting around 9/9.30 am.
NB sessions can be conducted indoors, hence no public access.
Sessions are adjusted depending on the day of the match.
Times are not on the website.

The Club releases updates on Socials if there is a public ‘open’ session / family day.

For ultimate clarity on session dates and times, contact the Club https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/club/contact

Feel free to provide training updates here over the 2024 season.

Waiting for the first < insert player name> is training the house down drop.

Pity we don't have a few regular track watchers from Nicks.
Maybe we plagiarise Jen from Big Footy / Twitter, as that's about the most detailed and consistent source going around.

Imagine the young nippers have started pre season

Any one been down to watch. Are their any senior players joining in

I suspect a pre season into Ash could see him get more game time

There was a kid in a training top yesterday with friends, but up i didn’t recognise him, maybe a fan. Years 1-4 go back on the 27th of November apparently.

Evening all.

If my health permits, I will do the occasional training report pre-Christmas..

My reports are a bit wordy, but I will try to stick more to details than introduce literary flourishes as I have in the past.

Would be delighted to see the black and white out at our spiritual home for training again

Yes WL, no need to change something that’s not broken. Your missives are easy to read and understand with the exciting details of the new players mentioned. Please keep up your excellent work.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

I agree - if you really feel the need to change though try writing it as Yoda would say it!
