Hazlewood 3/13, Starc 3/38, Lyon 2/18, Cummins 1/11. Starc and Lyon each took 5 for the match.

Marsh named POTM.

Since DRS has been in the system sadly umpiring and correct calls have gone out the window.

Umpires give out when its not and not out when its out.

Amazing how they can get sooo wrong and each time theres an appeal its taken up stairs.

its like DRS is the umpire

Bring in the robots soon.

Amazing lack of confidence.

Hate to burst your bubble but this has been happening for decades before the DSR system was even developed. Part of the raffle of the umpiring trade.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

Flat-track bully Steve Smith was out LBW yet again!!

Wow, his defective technique is being destroyed!!

Which means Khurram Shahzad has got FTB out twice!!! Shahzad also got Marsh (1st inns.), Warner (2nd) and Marny (2nd).

P. Lalor:

'Smith ... was not happy and gesticulated toward the umpires as he was leaving the field. It was not horrible, but still not a good look and he could find himself in the umpire's report book.'

Last time you "yawned", it was at Chappell. Then you claimed it was not 'cos you disliked what he said. You said it was 'cos what he said was obviously true.

So... Is it obvious to you that FTB Smith has a defective technique? Is it obvious to you FTB is getting out LBW a heck of a lot? And not to great balls. Just to standard straight balls on the stumps.

And is it obvious to you he's a "compulsive" reviewer (as The Age politely put it) and blows reviews all the time?

It's weird that some dude gets out LBW all the time and folks pretend it's not happening. Y'know, just pretending doesn't change what happened. Being all hush, hush won't stop FTB getting out LBW in the future. That's caused by his defective technique. It's not caused by folks talking 'bout it.

What's "weird" is you pretending that the bloke with the best batting record in test cricket since 1948 all over the World against all opposition, all-time, has a "defective technique". At some point (long-since passed) it ceased to be an interesting "alternative take" and merely looks churlish and tired.

Here, just to remind you, is the list of all batsmen, all-time, who have made at least 7,500 career runs at an average of 58 or better:

SPD BradSmith.

Daylight...

More and more daylight...

Actually no-one else at all, ever.

Some people who aren't on that list are Sobers, Sangakkara, IVA Richards, Ponting. Tendulkar, Lara, Kallis, Miandad, Dravid, Gavaskar, SR Waugh and Border.

Here's a small hint for you - none of them had a defective technique, either. They just weren't as solid as BradSmith has been.
