Thanks Mr Pieman.

OK heres the next question:

"Micky McGuane kicked that magical bouncing goal at the MCG vs Carlton in 1994... The ball was tapped to him from a rucking contest, and off he went into magpie folklore.... That fateful centre-square rucking contest was a restart of play, as someone had just kicked a goal for the pies.... soooooo, my question is: who was that someone?"

Hi people,

Yeah, I agree Damien - Brian Taylor was commonly known as Barge, but also well known as BT. Didn't know Barham was The Rock, I only ever called him The Racehorse (you learn something new everyday).

Anyhoo, regarding my trivia quesion, there has been some confusion I can see (probably my fault).

Daks, the question is about 1994, not the 1990 GF.

I was not asking "Who tapped the ball to McGuane"...

My question was "Who kicked the goal for the Pies that happened immediately BEFORE the fateful centre square ball-up (which as we know was tapped to McGuane to begin his famous run-and-goal).

Sorry Nath, Patterson was not the goalkicker.

Cheers
