Saw it last night. Absolutely awesome. A small Collingwood chant picked up in the cinema at the end.
Went to highpoint, not overly familiar with the complex and parked on the wrong side, so I had to walk around the complex as the inside was closed off when the film ended.

Good for those who couldnt get to the cinema to see it. I'm hoping there is a home release as I like to have my own official copy of these things.

I've noticed there is no season highlights DVD this year. Would love to see that come out. Geelong had one last year and there's been many years where the non-winning GF team had a highlights release. I guess there isnt much demand for that these days, but I would love to get a season review DVD similar to what they did in 2010.

Also, dont forget there is another doco on tonight on Fox Footy, I was in the trailer for it. They used my footage from the final siren. 7:30, should be good.

Just finished the GF recall on Fox Footy.
Fantastic to reminisce on the day and get the insights of some of our key players and Fly.
Started getting emotional at the end when they were showing the supporters celebrations in the crowd post siren.

Another documentary is on the way.
44 Sons will be broadcast for the first time on Wednesday night at the AFL's season launch in Sydney and be available to watch on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live app.

Featuring exclusive vision and audio from a mic'd up McRae on Grand Final day as well as interviews with the coach, Pendlebury, Nick and Josh Daicos, Darcy Moore, Bobby Hill and Jeff Browne, 44 Sons goes behind the curtain to reveal what went on in the Magpies' rooms during the season and on the last day in September.

^44 Sons just brought a tear to the eye. What a phenomenal triumph of spirit. A season and story for the ages. Pure, unadulterated joy. The feeling and emotion just doesn't diminish, no matter how many times you relive it.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Well, that's just fine for people who live in a capital city or a regional town where there is a Hoyts. The nearest one to me is a 450km round trip, in Canberra, and then there is accommodation.
Melbourne is a 1450 km round trip.
Been following Collingwood all my life after growing up in Melbourne and seeing them every week in my teens and 20s. Last year was the first time since 1958 that I have been in Australia when the Pies won the flag. I saw them lose in 1966, 1970, 1977 (twice) and 1980.
Guess I should be thankful I have Kayo and can watch the GF again, but I would love to see the doco.
If you used to barrack for the 'Pies, you never barracked for the 'Pies.
