First time in VFL/AFL history where the reigning Grand Finalists both start the season 0-2.

Probably the biggest sign that the season might have started too early.

Brisbane with a bye in Round 2. Not sure if that will be a good or a bad thing for both them and us ahead of our Round 3 clash at the Gabba.

^ It would have made more sense for us to have the bye instead of Carlton since we're playing Brisbane on Easter Thursday night the following week.

The AFL are morons with the way they've constructed the fixture.
