Watched the last qtr of the GF to get me fired up again, we were fantastic. Bring the heat, pressure, tackles, run on, overlap, aggression, unrelenting pressure, long kicking and utter determination we had then, bring that tonight, and we can win this,if we are in same determined mood. Taken enough shit, crap, from media , other fans, time to hit back hard, against Brions, hit back bloody hard. Have a red hot go, all match. Pies by 9 points.

Not 100% happy with selections.
Fly is backing in Titch to rise to the occasion in combat with Neale, after his very poor start to the season.
But I hope Finn starts in the 22, because playing Titch again only makes sense if we also have Finn as another inside mid, releasing JDG to go forward. If Finn is sub, then I have no idea what our plan is.
My issue with the selected team as it stands is that there is no player in the IC that I would like to see sub.
I want all of Finn, Reef, DC, Noble,Crisp to start in the 22.
Would have preferred to see WHE as sub, and all the above mentioned in the starting 22.

We’ll Fly might remember that after lamenting his loose D50 leaving Daniher to run amok.
Are we going to leave Moore to lag off him and let him get up the ground and spin and wheel Fwd? Are we sending Frampton to him for the run around instead. Howe will be hard pressed to combat him too. Brisbane have gone tall to stretch our defence also. Hipwood and Fort could be trouble with Payne playing Fwd and kicking goals in the VFL too. It’s a small ground with long kicks from the centre easily making tall targets accessible from the bounce. And they we’ve transitioned so far we’ll give away 5 to 7 goals in the second and third quarters whilst we’re watching the replay from the previous goal.
Rally hope our fears are all wrong this week and we can grind out something different to the first 3 weeks

Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter

This has all the hallmarks of a classic "backs against the wall" victory if we bring the heat and intensity required. The Lions are not getting much press coverage for their winless start to the season, so an opportunity presents itself for us.
Noble for Markov is a sensible change. Noble's earned the inclusion after a strong VFL showing, and Markov hasn't looked up to it this season. I know Sidebottom is being "managed", but I would have liked to have seen him in the side again despite a lacklasture start to the season so far.
I'm hoping Fin Macrae starts. Getting sick of him being the substitute and I don't think constantly having him on the bench is sending the right message to youth and fringe players who are trying to break into the senior side.
If we're 0-4, I still don't think the season is a write off. I'd be more panicky if we lost tonight AND lost in Gather Round against Hawthorn. I'll be looking at our overall performance, style of play and whether we can reduce the number of scores we concede from turnover.

The whole football world has an opinion about this game.
We don't win, we're done... well seems that way
I say c'mon boys get over the line on this one, a one point victory, déjà vu.

I would have been bit more content with one more kid included tonight, such as young Allan. However, its a good side overall, so as long as we have a red hot go, improve vastly from last few wks, I am satisfied. Woods to either lose, or win by nine points. Swoop Luke said one point victory, so I will take that.
