I think GWS are more like us than Carlton.
Collingwood (2022) and GWS (2023) both lost a Prelim by a point. Both sides had a new coach refresh them with their style of play after underachieving in previous years.
Both McRae and Kingsley have come from Richmond during their golden years when they were assistant coaches, so they've adopted many of the same philosophies and tactics that they learnt and harnessed over there.
