Actually, we're looking an underlying trend here that has developed over the last few weeks,
since our disastrous first 3 rounds. Always good to be trending up ↑
Compared to other teams we stand out. And this is necessary to get to top 4 and play finals.
So much more dynamic’: Why Steele’s shift backwards is key to boosting Pies premiership defence
...Leigh Montagna praised the move to push Sidebottom into defence, saying there was a two-fold impact: He said the experience and class of Sidebottom strengthened the Magpies defence but also had the flow-on effect of allowing Nick Daicos and Jack Crisp to spend more time in the middle.
“I really liked it. I think this is going to enhance the Pies chances of getting another crack at winning another flag,” he said on AFL 360.
“Not only can Sidebottom play this role, what it has done for the midfield (is allow) Nick Daicos and Jack Crisp to become permanent inside mids and they look so much more dynamic."...
Swans are the standouts at the moment, but we're right in this.
Geelong and GWS are in a slump now. Jury is still out on Essendon, and Melbourne and Port are thereabouts.

No, the Giants are gone now. Need to watch out for Brisbane. They slaughtered the Tigers tonight (but who doesn't) and have a very easy draw coming up. So perhaps it's Brisbane in for the Giants. The rest I agree with.
The Giants will get their mojo back….remember last year. Yes Brisbane looks good but coming from a long way back and have to play most of the top 8, so the damage may be done.
Cats have issues with Hawkins, Port has been given a blue print to the comp on how to deal with Stewart which is causing all sorts of issues with their back half. Dangerfield back will help but not sure about them.
Can’t trust Port to win a final at the MCG. Essendon while they have a decent coach and are on the improve are still ranked outside the best 8 for both attack and defence in 2024 plus they haven’t won a final for nearly 20 years.
Carlton well if you stop either Walsh or Cripps there is not much to backup. Cerra seems injury prone now.
Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy.
Thinking deep thoughts today and yes there are 16 sides who should well consider their 2025 plans
The other two. Swans & Pies consider how they will celebrate GF day 2024
