Suns ultimately too good but geez we did everything to lose the game.
Bobby Hill needs a spell in the VFL to re learn the basics and eliminate that one handed Hollywood rubbish that he’s constantly attempting all season.
Extremely frustrating to watch especially when you know how talented he is.

Yep I said as much in the match day thread. Dwayne is one of the best in the business. This was one of the best commentary performances we’ve had all season.Big T wrote:Don’t agree. The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

They are good at home.
Needed to have a better strategy for King.
As usual, will never surrender.
Maybe in retrospect (always easy) Dean should have played.
Disappointing result, but i cant help but feel that our guns, Checkers, JDG and also Pendles got warmed up from this game.
Richards not the sub.
Schulz returns.
The loss is painful, but still reckon we are tuning the engine. This was a minor backfire. But the engine is intact.

What happened to JFN and Bruzza ?? ( Did not see the final quarter)RudeBoy wrote:Losing Maynard, Noble and McCreery made it very hard.
However, the big problem was allowing the Cold Toast to be so far in front at 3/4 time.
We will need to improve considerably if we are to challenge this year.

To be fair they were moving the ball into the forward line with no pressure and with ease. Where was Moore? That’s my concern. Can’t blame that on Billy. Half back line got slaughtered and Billy had no chance. What'sinaname wrote:That's the truth. Buon Giorno
Witts was also huge. Monstered Cameron but he did fight his way back into it around the ground.
McReery injury might open the door for the more creative Richards. I reckon he will hold his spot all season.
Far from doom and gloom but not a night to remember, aside from Daicos’ goal.
