Hey, just FYI - Got my tix yesterday via public sale, membership didnt help so just paid full price. Only go one or twice a year due to being interstate but just glad I have seats fro my son and I.

Tickets for Friday night

Does anyone know if I can rock up on Friday night with a GA season ticket - scan and get into standing room???
Ticketek tells me that 'General public allocation is exhausted' so no option of standing room.

I got an SMS saying this game is fully ticketed and you need an upgrade. Same goes for next week.

I'm just gonna walk-up, there will be seats available
all this fully ticketed rubbish is to scare people into buying online at inflated prices on ticketek.

Apparently you can't just scan and get in. You need to upgrade to a reserved seat to actually get into the ground.

Agree. There are almost always seats. I was hoping for standing room ( its a long story...) but seems you can't even do that these days :o

Least with huge TV screen, sound system, all hi tech, I can stay warm, fish n chips night, white wine night, whiskey tot, snacks, no immense lines for the dunney, side by side with me two warm Labrador puppies, nice n cosy, yeh, im kinda over these huge freezing matches, to say the very least. !

^ ha ha, true, but I did serve my time freezing at ol Vic Park in pissing rain for some years, and at ol Waverley park too. ! Oh,and I do love our roaring wood fire, up here in Mt Evelyn bushland too, I hasten to say. !
