For a team that seemed short and played short last week, I’m amazed that with two talls out injured we’ve also dropped Dean. Still, wtfwik?

Hit these pretenders hard boys, totally different match to last two weeks, side by side, no let up , relentless pressure, tackling, gang tackling, play ugly manic chaos footy, keep at em constantly be totally in the pussy faces. No fade out quarters, have red hot go, all match, never let up pressure, run em ragged. We can do this our record against these mongrels is very good. Woods by 11 points.

Not only dropped but left out of the emergencies! I was surprised he was subbed out last week too, so it seems like the coaches must be unhappy with something about his recent performances that a lot of us haven’t been picking up on.

It's fabulous to have Billy Elliott back in the side. He is a genuine star and match winner. With Krueger as our big key target supported by McInnes and Elliott as our other marking targets, with Bobby Hill, Schultz and Harrison at ground level, I'm confident our forward line can be very effective.

In Howe's absence, I expect WHE will play mainly in defence, and he should provide much more mobility than Dean, who is a tad slow for my liking.

My only worry is that we lack marking power around the ground. Cameron is likely to be run off his feet, having to cover so much ground. The key will be how we move the ball, hopefully relying on a lot of run and carry, rather than long bombs.

I hope JDG is fully fit, as he seemed to be a bit off last week, suggesting his groin issues have be still hampering him.

We need this win desperately, so I expect full on intensity from our team.

Zero confidence, we’re up against it. Not playing well, effort lacking, key players missing or underdone, Geelong seem to be back to winning form. Perhaps only the weather saves this from being a blow out.
The positive is that I have zero expectations so disappointment at not winning is limited.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Weather for the game well it will be a tad greasy as we had some showers this morning.
I actually live just accross pund road in richmond a few blocks from the Crikcers Arms and only a 10-15 minute stroll from the MCG.
BOM says its going to be pretty breeezey at the MCG tonight.
Am i not feeling confident on this match.
Sure is backs against the wall time.
Not to sure we have ever had our backs to the wall like this under Fly.
Interesting on how the players will respond,
