We are up against it this week. The boys need to turn around last week's very poor form if we are to win this game against Geelong. Its possible but probable? I don't know. I'm hoping to be surprised so I'm picking Collingwood to win by under five points.

Hahaha, I like a good story...
Please, someone pass the box of Panadol to Chris Scott.

'We'd prefer he wasn't in the team': Chris Scott admits Cats will struggle to nullify Nick Daicos' influence.
"...We wouldn't have to waste five hours going through all the what-ifs with him (Daicos)."

Fingers crossed we bring the heat and can sustain it for the majority of the game.

Think this is our last chance, or we're just about cooked.

Side topic in the Game Dasy thread, the 2010 Collingwood Premiership players are having their reunion tonight, at ht eMCG courtesy of the club. It's the 10 year reunion that was delayed by Covid.

Daisy Thomas is doing the MMM Rush Hour program live from the MCG, starts his new breakfast program on Monday.

They're interviewing Chris Dawes who has flown in from New York, arrived this morning, flying back to NY Monday. That's a man who'll do anything for a free beer and to get away from the wife and kids for a few days.

Yeah that suited footy in the 40s and 50s. But not today. Not with this generation of players. Pressure is important yes, but strategy is far more important. We just don't have the cattle to challenge the resurgent Cats tonight.

Tonight's 22 is right on the edge for talls. But as always, it's winning the contest and ball movement first.

Oh look, Reef sub. Again the same thing for three seasons. Get your manager to look elsewhere, kid. Craig obviously thinks little of you.

Huh ?? against the Lions in rd 4 we used exactly mass pressure and hard, gang tackling at the Gabba and got job done , Cats dont like in your face footy and our record against them is very good. If we win, I look forward to your comments post match. :o
