Fun fact. At half time, Josh Daicos has had 14 kicks. Nick Daicos has had 21.

Go Pies. Go Daicos, N+J.

I was shocked when Dean was dropped for the Suns game. I felt that was the wrong call. Then he was brought back in for Essendon where he was subbed out. And now dropped again.

Markov has pace. However his kicking is not good at all. You cant have that bad of a kick in the back half.

Dean is a 1 on 1 player. And with Murphy missing out there, we've needed that extra stopper out there. It's concerning that he isnt getting games right now.

What’s the point of a Game Day Thread when the Truman Show Brigade try to enforce their moral superiority?

Anyhow, Pies doing ok although the umpires (I dare not call them ma**ots
for fear of offending the moral crusaders) seem to pick out a free kick for Geelong whenever we seem to be getting in top.

Playing well:

Sidey
De Goey
Nick
Crisp
Harrison
Richards
Elliott

Need to lift:

Three weeks in a row we have too many passengers watching the ball and not impacting the game. How long can we continue to do this and still hope to win? Problem needs to be addressed now, at half time. The good news is that the pressure rating has increased to an acceptable level but needs to improve more. 50/50 at this stage. Need to lift to win.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

Bobby playing out of position - needs to be closer to goal.
Quaynor playing out of position - needs to be on halif-back flank. (covering for Jeremy Howe, but not happy back there)
Krueger needs to learn to take chest marks in the forward line and stop worrying about who's coming for him.
Has Lipinski done anything since that first goal? Asking for a Pies fan.

Unless there is a blatant attack on another poster, or player personally, the GD thread should be let go. With the understanding that we can sometimes be a little hot under the collar whilst the game is running.

From where he was, Kreuger is doing great work. Just doing a little more week to week, and at times looks like a more than handy prospect.

Lets stay competitive. I reckon Crisp, DeGoey and Hill have some upside to kill them off.

Just like comedy. Once you lose that cutting edge it is no longer funny. Woke will do that with everything it touches.

Those shitbags gifted them the opening goal, and then another against Sidey late in the 2nd.

Most Handbag goals come from our clustercluck turnovers, other than the maggot charity.

Hope that clears up any confusion.

Other than holding the man rule rarely applies to Nick Daicos; I've counted at least 6 those dogs Finlay and Meredith have ignored.

First time I have commented during a game.

Geelong players gets tackled- "Ball up"
Pies players get tackled- free to Geelong.

We need our Club to call this crap out- win, lose or draw...

Over it..

Need Hill, Crisp and Schultz to lift in a big way...
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...

Bobby misses from the square.... Cameron kicks a freak shot.

Problem is out backline looks like shell of last year. Jittery, no confidence from any player really. Maynard even is unsighted.

Dont you hate that!

We're right in this though, but would like to convert some of these easier misses! If we get a tad more luck, we'll start snagginf a few in a row.
