Ok, I’ll start with saying that we will win this game. We will play a better brand of football. McRae will have had the guys “reading the room” and they will know that this game is crucial for their belief in defending the flag. I don’t know about the margin because as long as they win, I don’t care. So neck right out on this, we’ll win.

Time for talk is over, hit these piss and poo pricks with everything we have with nerves as cold as steel, ice in our veins. Wet weather footy, low score, real scrap, dour, Woods by 14 points. Must victory, line in the sand match.

WTF does that maggot Stevic get so many Collingwood games to stuff up? That is a horrible choice of umpire 😡 Now we need to beat an extra player 🤬

Stevic again is no surprise and the continuance of his prevalence in our coaching panel every round is raw proof that although the leadership at AFL central may have changed the usual attitudes towards Collingwood have not.

This has been the case since my first live game nearly 6 decades ago and will never change.

Get used to it young ones, it's one of the staple trials of supporting the Pies.

I'm a fan of umpires as much as players. I love to listen to them blow their whistle, while players blow their top, haha. Watching umpires is such fun, takes away the need to watch the game - they produce drama at every minute. Love the way they walk backwards at times. To gain attention they play to bounce the ball outside the centre circle so they get to throw the ball up, love that! When I'm at the game I want their autograph, of course! Every Collingwood fan should put a picture of their favourite umpire above the wine bar in the lounge room. Maybe Phil Carman has...

I like Sullivan as the sub. Reef gets a full game now to prove his value - hopefully he gets a bit of time up the ground - he's been pretty good in the middle in the VFL
I think therefore I think - I think

Reef showed a lot of effort and determination last week in the VFL. We all need to see that component of his game again today. You would think he’d be further up the ground with both McStay and Krueger in the 22. McInnes and Long are the two who really need to grab their opportunities today.
